What is Super Simple Highlighter?

Super Simple Highlighter is a unique Chrome extension empowering users to create enduring, private highlights on any web page. It provides several built-in styles like basic colors, redaction, blurs and others. The application allows highlights creation through the mouse or keyboard shortcuts. A popup dialog lets you navigate through a page's highlights, while summarizing them for print or save. This process is entirely private, with no data leaving your browser. Note: This extension does not sync across devices and highlights may not always be successfully restored.

This extension lets you make highlights on any web page, and subsequently attempts to restore those highlights when you revisit the page.

This process is completely private. The location and contents of your highlights never leave your browser.

A variety of highlight styles are available, with built-in styles including basic colors, redaction, blurs etc. Highlights can be made via the mouse or a keyboard shortcut.

This is the best chrome extension of its kind. - customizable keyboard bindings - customizable highlight colors + customizable TEXT colors of what you highlight - in addition to highlighting, it can also bold and strikethrough - magnifies: this makes the text larger - quotes: creates what I call a 'callout' - redacts: hides the content, useful for quizzing yourself It does all of this WITHOUT interrupting/covering anything else on the website, it's like magic BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE - stores all your highlights in a very simple and convenient way, and can READ THEM TO YOU OUT LOUD - exports in markdown format The only thing this is missing is the ability to annotate, but frankly this extension does more than enough, it almost feels rude to ask for more Dev, I appreciate you so much, you've made learning (studying to be a dev / SWE myself) much faster for me

seamless and fabulous.. can you perhaps add other options though for color, texture, shadow, and a more realistic typical yellow highlighter option? thanks in advance
