Highlighter is a user-friendly Chrome extension that lets you highlight text on any webpage with ease. Simply select the text and right-click to highlight, or use the default keyboard shortcut 'Alt+H' (or ^H on Mac). All highlights are saved locally on your device, so they reappear when you revisit the page — perfect for studying, research, or web browsing.

Key features include viewing and copying all highlights on a page, deleting or copying individual highlights by clicking them, and customizing highlight and text colors to suit your preference. You can also modify the keyboard shortcut through Chrome's extension settings. The extension's code is fully open-source and available on GitHub, encouraging community contributions. Please note that Highly dynamic pages like Facebook or certain email clients might not support highlighting yet. Privacy is respected: only non-personal usage data is collected, with no browsing content captured.

This extension worked quite well in the beginning but then it just broke on me, it wouldnt highlight and whenever i tried to install and re install it would still give me the same problem.
