This is intended to provide a "silent" tts mode for another extension I'm working on. I thought it might be useful, so I'm making it publicly available.

Notification auto-closes. That delay and the notification icon are configurable on the options page.

set notification silent? could you extend more function, let user choose output silent or text-to-speech, I am looking for a extension could speech the chrome notification. I don't need it became silence, if I don't like it popup notification, I just forbit the site popup notification.
