What is CSS-Block?
'CSS-Block' is a Chrome extension designed to enhance the internet browsing experience by blocking CSS files. These files are often unnecessary, providing only aesthetic flair and consuming significant bandwidth. More importantly, CSS files can potentially hide or obscure content, and load additional resources like fonts, images and vector graphics. By using CSS-Block, these concerns are effectively mitigated.

Summary

Almost all websites send nearly useless and often dangerous css-files to their users just to add flashy visual effects to a website. Not only does the CSS-code itself use up bandwidth (700Kb with more than 6000 rules on facebook), but CSS itself can load additional resources, like fonts, images and vector graphics. It can be used to hide and obscure content.

To stop this needless madness, we've created CSS-Block. Just install it and all your worries are gone. No CSS file will ever be able to bug you again.

Not working

This app has a stupid description and it is pretty useless. 1. You can turn off CSS in your browser settings, you do not need an extension. 2. To claim CSS "slows down internet" or can carry viruses is either just lying or shows that author doesn't understand how CSS works.
