FiddlerFox Firefox

FiddlerFox

Allows you to point Firefox to your fiddler instance if it doesn't refresh the proxy settings after Fiddler has started.

Features & Capabilities

FiddlerFox is a Firefox extension designed to simplify the use of the Fiddler proxy during web development. Normally, Firefox loads proxy settings only once upon startup and ignores subsequent OS proxy changes. This means if you start Fiddler after Firefox, the browser won’t automatically route traffic through Fiddler.

FiddlerFox solves this by adding a toolbar button that lets you manually toggle the connection to your local Fiddler instance (default port 8888) without restarting Firefox or navigating complex proxy menus. This is especially useful during active development sessions with multiple tabs and windows open.

Unlike the legacy FiddlerHook extension, which is unsigned and incompatible with newer Firefox versions, FiddlerFox is up-to-date and officially available via Mozilla Add-ons, providing a seamless and user-friendly solution for integrating Fiddler proxy with Firefox.
