Benchboard helps walkers, volunteers, and neighborhood residents keep a simple record of public benches in their area. You can log each bench with a clear label, current condition, shade level, and a short note about nearby landmarks, litter, paint, or other useful details. The Overview tab acts as a quick dashboard, showing the total number of benches tracked, the current count of damaged benches, and a fast way to add a new entry. It also highlights the three most recently updated benches so you can quickly review recent changes during a walk. The Benches tab gives you a searchable list of all saved benches, with condition and shade information visible at a glance. From the list, you can open any bench to update details or remove records you no longer need. The Capture tab keeps the workflow straightforward with a form-first screen designed for creating a new bench entry or editing an existing one. Large field labels and simple controls make it easy to save information quickly while you are out in the neighborhood. The Notes tab brings local context to the front by showing bench cards with the label first and the note as the main focus. When a bench has no note yet, the app clearly shows that status so you can spot missing details right away. All bench records are stored locally on your device, helping you keep access to your list without needing accounts or extra setup. Seed sample data on first launch helps you understand the layout and start tracking right away.
