Tideline

Tideline is a quiet daily mood journal kept by the shore. Every day you walk the tideline and pick up a small pebble whose colour matches how the day felt — from a Sunlit warm gold to a Squall storm-purple — and, if you like, add a short note. Over time the shore fills with smooth, smaller stones, one for each day you've showed up.

TODAY (home)
The home screen opens with a single big pebble at its centre — today's bloom of the tide, waiting to be picked. Tap it (or the round + button at the bottom-right) to choose a colour, jot a line about the day, and press it ashore. A streak ribbon names how many days you've kept the tideline running. At the foot of the home screen sits your current week — seven pebbles, tappable to revisit. A bottom bar of three tabs gives you the rest of the app at a glance.

THE TIDELINE (calendar)
The Tideline is the heart of the app: a full month laid out as a shore of pressed pebbles. Each logged day is a soft oval in its mood's colour with the emoji on it. Flip through the months and watch each one fill in. Below the calendar, a small breakdown shows how the month's pebbles fell, one bar per colour. Tap any day to open or edit it.

THE DAY (per-day detail)
Every day has its own page. A big pebble shows how it felt, with the note beneath it. Step a day forward or back, change the colour, edit the note, or toss the pebble back into the sea. Past days are always editable, so a missed day is easy to add later.

THE SHORE (trends & settings)
The Shore gathers the numbers: your current streak, longest streak ashore, total pebbles picked, and your average pebble. A fourteen-day strip shows the recent run at a glance — taller, warmer bars are brighter days, gaps are days you skipped — and a card names your most common pebble so far. The same screen holds your preferences: haptic feedback, the tide-dusk or warm-sand palette, and whether the week starts on Monday.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
All entries are encrypted on your device with AES, using a key stored in the Android Keystore. The released app has no INTERNET permission at all — it physically cannot send anything anywhere. There is no account, no cloud, no sync, no notifications, and nothing is ever transmitted.

Tideline starts with a little recent history seeded in so the shore is never empty, and you can sweep everything away and start fresh at any time. It does not gamify, nag, or guilt. It simply asks one honest question a day, and presses the colour of it ashore.
