2024-07-21	To*****	Good Monitoring Tool - Could be better. The main reason I purchased this product is so I can be alerted if my sump pump isn't running. While this works when I tested it, it doesn't work well in my real implementation. The app only allows alerts / notifications to be turned on or off, it doesn't allow individual events to be turned on or off. The issue I have is that when my pump runs it runs for 10 to 15 minutes at a time. This causes an alert every time the pump runs, which I don't need.

2024-04-14	Ma*****	Updating a previous review just to be fair. I've been using Pumpspy for over 6 years now. App has definitely had its issues over the years but I have to say that it has become much more reliable the last 6 months. I haven't had to reinstall/relogin in a very long time and it has stayed connected to wifi continuously during this time. Using with Nighthawk router and S22 Ultra. Pumpspy is a great device and love the data it provides me every day. Couldn't live without it!
Updating a previous review just to be fair. I've been using Pumpspy for over 6 years now. App has definitely had its issues over the years but I have to say that it has become much more reliable the last 6 months. 2022-11-06	Ma*****	This app has a lot of bugs. Newer android phones have trouble logging in. It loses account information regularly causing you to have to Uninstal and reinstall. Assitionally you sometimes have to log in and out of app. It also gives the loading wheel of death when trying to log in. When it works it is great for what it is but not dependable. I would seek a different product with better app support next time.

2022-10-10	Mi*****	Unable able to log in after creating account. Error message is, "Error Bad credentials". My login information is correct. Cleared app cache, deleted data and reinstalled. No difference. Unable to get PumpSpy Smart Outlet configured. Useless product because of app failure. Update Oct 9, 2022 - I was finally able to log in. There are definitely security vulnerabilities! If you are unable to login, call for assistance. I HAD to use an iPhone to initially log in. Luckily, I had one.

The last fix was to clear the cache and data for the app. Previous Review The app is great when it works. Every couple of weeks it becomes unresponsive. The fix is to uninstall and reinstall the app. Most of the time this works. Sometimes you just have to wait a day or two and try again. This has been a problem for 3 years since I've had it even after app updates. It's a problem with both Android and Apple.

2022-04-22	Be*****	Absolute garbage app. The installation doesn't work. The manual installation doesn't work. I installed this app on a tablet and at least it lets me proceed (on the phone app as soon as you enter text to continue the button to continue receedes to the top and you can't select it again). I used the browser method with my tablet and i thought i had it but on the last step it says the device isn't supported.

2022-01-05	Ad*****	This product is hot garbage. The app is unforgivably unstable and even if you fix it most problems will return. Is the device useful without the app? Nope. Not a good look for something that is supposed to protect your home and give you a piece of mind. I'll be replacing this with something that works and I recommend everyone do the same before the company lights go out. It's just not worth the unknown risk and constant fiddling.

2021-11-09	Da*****	11/2021 - App is partially broken, it should have asked for a login, not to add devices with the + when it starts. No devices can be added, the app just spins. Same for adding Contacts. Workaround: Go to Settings -> Sign Out. Then login with your existing account. After logging in prior settings and devices/plugs were found. FYI: I own two smart outlets and both report false sump pump runs when the crocks are dry. The "wet" runs I believe are correct.

They just went in circles covering the stuff in FAQ. Took two weeks to figure out on my own (because I couldn't return it) after I gave up on support that these require your wifi password to have NO spaces, special characters, and numbers AND it has to be less than 16 characters long. Also found it works better with wpa3 turned off. 🤬

2021-08-13	Na*****	Display issues on my LG V20 as well. Can't see details or cycle history. Cleared data and cache and not fixed. Data for cycle history shows for about 1 second and then disappears. I get a full white screen showing pump is connected. Wish I could go back a version. It was working fine. Total bummer. Hope there will be another update soon 8/10/2021: did a phone factory reset, and all my display issues are resolved. App is fully functional.
