I've use Hello Fresh, Blue Apron, Home Chef, Omaha, Honey Baked Hams and never ever have i hated a food service like I hate this one. If your 80 year old grandpa started a website, it'd be something like this. I fully expect my next order to be delivered by cart and buggy. If you want to try this service. Make sure to know your cut off date, it's much longer than most companies, like seven to ten days.

2026-07-11	An*****	I've tried several meal services over the last 5 years, and Marley Spoon is by far the worst. There has been an issue with every box I've received, 2 boxes were a total loss due to delayed delivery and insufficient ice pack (only 2). Two other boxes had rotten produce and was protiens was barely cool to the touch. Atleast customer service quickly offers refunds, but thats it, no real resolution to the problem, they just keep sending all crammed in a box with barely enough ice to make it.

When you click on a recipe to see the ingredients and go back, the list goes back to the top and you have to scroll down again. You can't click on recipes you already have in the cart to check their ingredients, you have to go back to the list and hunt for them amongst 100 other recipes. Also the app is slow and every click takes a couple of seconds. Please test your apps thoroughly before releasing updates.

As a basic comparison, Shrimp and grits was not great.. Runny and with a very small portion (340 grams). I've had no trouble at all with chef unity, And the shrimp and grits were tasty and a good sized portion..(410 grams), As well as slightly cheaper
