Recent reviews

Used Sunbasket for 4 weekly deliveries. Half did not arrive on my selected delivery day, including one that arrived early on Memorial Day without any warning. Support insisted adequate notice was provided and was difficult to work with when I tried resolving the issue. App experience is subpar compared to other services I've used. The food was generally good, but the app, delivery reliability, and communication need major improvement. Plenty of competitors handle this better.

The app (and website) has critical functionality that has been broken for years. They let you set dietary preferences (e.g. allergens), but these are only cosmetic. They do not actually prevent them from trying to sell you food that you cannot eat. Customer support has been very patient but ultimately they say that this is working as intended: they need you to go in and fix the meal orders every week. Food is mostly good, if rather overpriced. Delivery is fine.

I'll change my rating when or if they actually follow delivery instructions. I'm disabled and can't carry a large heavy box down a flight of stairs while using crutches. and yet even though their driver has had access each time, they completely ignore the instruction to set the box directly by my apartment door and instead leave it up the flight of stairs. I've spoken to customer service about this, as well as the delivery co. and they assure it wont happen again, yet every time - same thing
