Features & Capabilities

Visible is a pacing-focused health app for Long Covid, ME/CFS, POTS, fibromyalgia, and other energy-limiting conditions. By measuring biometrics and tracking daily activity, it helps you understand your body's energy patterns and pace your day, rather than push you toward workouts. Use your phone camera to measure HRV and resting heart rate each morning, gaining insights into daily stability and pacing decisions.

Log symptoms, medications, and exertion to spot patterns over time, and export long-term health reports to share with your clinician. When paired with the Visible band, you get real-time pacing notifications, PacePoints, and all-day energy budgeting. You can opt into studies to contribute to research and advance science in energy-limiting conditions. Thousands of five-star reviews reflect its impact. Note: Visible is not medical advice and should be used with professional guidance.

User Reviews

Visible: Pacing for illness offers strong pacing aids, robust symptom tracking, and a user-friendly interface that supports daily planning and doctor discussions. Repeated themes center on reliability and connectivity issues (logins, crashes, update-related band problems) and device/region limitations, plus concerns about premium pricing. Overall, it shows promise for pacing and health insight, with room to improve stability and accessibility across devices and regions.
Pros
  • Pacing and energy management aided by pacing indicators (e.g., crash indicator) to help avoid overexertion
  • Comprehensive symptom tracking with visible trends and HR/HRV data for day-to-day understanding
  • Easy-to-use, clean interface with minimal clutter and intuitive navigation
  • Useful for daily planning and medical discussions via data like stability scores and trend insights
  • Good potential for wearables integration (alignment with HR/HRV data) and richer long-term data with a band
Cons
  • Stability and reliability issues including login failures, crashes, and update-related problems affecting analysis and startup
  • Band/connectivity problems after updates or with the device, causing poor or failed synchronization
  • Device compatibility and regional availability limitations (e.g., some devices not fully supported; pro-version waitlists in certain regions)
  • Pricing/paywalls per premium features leading to user frustration or limitations for free users

Hopefully the connectivity issues are resolved for android now. It would be great if the widget showed your heart rate along with your pace points. that way we can quickly check it instead of having to stop and open the app

As of 5/28/2026, I think the PacePoints issue is fixed. I wish there was a place to make notes in the app in general for each day/night, without having to tag a specific activity, or list it in a check-in. Having context for how I felt or what happened that day would be helpful. For example, maybe I felt worse/more drained because of the weather. It'd be nice to not need to pick a set time frame for notes, especially when your brain fog is bad.

very helpful for symptom tracking and pacing; I just wish the band was Motorola compatible
