MindfulPacer

Keep your energy levels in check. MindfulPacer helps you analyze steps and heart rate and lets you reflect on your own energy to support Activity Pacing on Android smartwatches with WearOS and phones.

ACTIVITY PACING

Set personal biometric limits and get notifications on your smartwatch (with WearOS) and phone as soon as they’re exceeded. All events are automatically saved in a journal as “Reflections” and linked to activities, helping you spot patterns that drain your energy—and avoid them.

CUSTOMIZABLE

Set your own thresholds and choose appropriate time intervals. You can also tailor the type and intensity of notifications.

JOURNAL

Log threshold crossings, link them to activities, and add symptoms or comments. These Reflections help you see how your activities relate to your overall well-being.

ANALYTICS

Visualize your biometric data and Reflections over different time ranges to identify recurring patterns.

OUTREACH

Explore current research, pacing tips, and background knowledge on our blog. Connect with others about your activity pacing strategy.

PRIVACY

Your data belongs to you. All data you collect with MindfulPacer is stored only within the app on your device (NOT on any server). You can export it anytime in Settings; for your own records or to share with a healthcare professional.

DEVELOPMENT

MindfulPacer is developed by researchers at the University of Zurich, a collaboration between the Human Aspects of Software Engineering Lab and the Center for Human Immunology, and is supported by the Long Covid Switzerland association.
