Pencilist is a practical punch list tracker for anyone juggling DIY renovation tasks across multiple rooms. The main Board screen works like a weathered plywood clipboard where each task appears as a yellow sticky note grouped under its room. You can quickly add a punch item with the floating pencil button, then enter a short title, choose a room, set a High, Medium, or Low priority, and add optional notes. Each note displays a small colored priority sticker so you can see what needs attention first at a glance. Tapping a note marks it done with a diagonal pencil slash, and the item moves to the Done tab. The Done tab keeps completed tasks visible with a grayed-out strikethrough style, and you can tap any item to restore it to the Board or swipe it away to delete it permanently. Long-pressing a sticky note on the Board lets you edit the task details whenever plans change. The Rooms tab lists each unique room name along with the number of open items, and tapping a room narrows the Board to only that space. Near the top of the clipboard, Total Items and Open Items are shown as hand-drawn tally marks scratched into the wooden surface, giving you a quick sense of overall progress. All information is stored locally on your device, so your punch list remains available while you work offline. Pencilist is designed for homeowners, helpers, and couples who need a focused way to track move-in fixes, finishing tasks, and room-by-room repairs without a heavy project management tool. The simple pencil-and-paper feel keeps the experience approachable while giving you the essential workflow of adding, reviewing, editing, completing, and deleting tasks. It is suited for small-scale remodeling work where clarity and speed matter more than complicated scheduling. With room filtering and priority colors, you can walk through the house knowing exactly what remains in each space. The Done board also gives you a satisfying record of completed work as you move towards a finished home.
