Blotter turns daily classroom communication into a simple desk calendar filled with colorful sticky notes. Teachers can quickly post reminders, events, and general notes without sorting through complicated menus. The Board tab shows today's announcements grouped by category so the most relevant items are visible at a glance. The Reminders tab filters the board to show only reminder announcements scheduled for today or upcoming dates, sorted by date. The Log tab keeps a chronological list of all past announcements for quick reference. The Post tab provides a straightforward form where you enter the announcement message, choose a category, and set a date. Each announcement appears as a pastel sticky note with a curled corner and a small date stamp, making the board feel familiar and easy to scan. Tapping a note lets you edit the message, change the category or date, or delete it when it is no longer needed. The dashboard keeps a small whiteboard-style counter on the desk calendar that shows the number of today's announcements and the number of upcoming reminders. It also lists the three most recent announcements as compact sticky notes so you can pick up where you left off. All announcements are stored locally on the device, so there is no login, account setup, or cloud connection required. Because everything is saved on the device, you can use Blotter in any classroom without depending on a network connection. The layout is designed to feel like a teacher's desk blotter with a wooden surface and colored sticky note pads along the bottom for tab navigation. Classroom aides and substitute teachers can open the app and understand the board quickly without extra training. Blotter helps keep daily reminders, events, and notes visible, organized, and easy to update throughout the school day.
