ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE

Stride uses Android's AccessibilityService API to detect the moment you open an app you have chosen to lock, so the step-goal lock screen can appear instantly. This is how app locking works.

Stride only reads which app is currently in the foreground. It never reads screen content, text you type, passwords or any personal data. This information is used only on your device to show the lock screen — it is never collected, stored off your device, or shared with anyone.

Enabling this service is optional and requires your explicit consent in Android settings. Stride asks before taking you there, and you can turn it off at any time.
