Content blocking (VpnService): The Narrow's on-device content blocker uses Android's VpnService to help you block pornography and other triggering sites as part of your recovery. It runs a local DNS-only VPN that filters harmful domains on your device — your traffic is never routed to an external server, no browsing data is collected or shared, and the VPN only runs when you turn the blocker on. VpnService is required because Android offers no other way for a third-party app to filter network requests system-wide.
