JSON Lite is a fast and versatile Chrome extension designed to enhance your JSON viewing experience. It formats JSON and JSONP responses as well as clipboard content, allowing easy readability with collapsible arrays, objects, and long values. Through intuitive controls such as Ctrl(Command)+Click and Alt(Option)+Click, users can efficiently collapse child and sibling items.

Ideal for developers and data analysts, JSON Lite can handle large JSON files (10MB+) and even attempts to display invalid JSON files gracefully. It also displays item counts and collection sizes, preserves numeric ordering and exact large numbers, and supports saving the original JSON document.
