YouTube automatically pauses videos after a period of inactivity and shows a “Video paused. Continue watching?” prompt. This extension removes that interruption so your content keeps playing when you’re still listening or watching.

🛡️ How It Works

For maximum reliability, the extension uses a multi-layered approach:

🧱 Layer 1: CSS Injection

Hides the dialog instantly using targeted CSS—before JavaScript even runs.

👀 Layer 2: DOM Monitoring

A MutationObserver watches for the dialog and removes it immediately if detected.

🖱️ Layer 3: Activity Simulation

Periodically simulates minimal user activity (e.g., mouse movement events) to reset YouTube’s idle timer and prevent the dialog from triggering at all.

🎮 How to Use

1. Open YouTube
2. Visit any video on desktop or mobile
3. Confirm the Extension Is Active
4. Click the extension icon in the toolbar
5. You should see “Active on YouTube pages”
6. Ensure the toggle is ON 🔴
7. Play Your Video
8. Start playback
9. Leave it running without interaction
10. The “Continue watching?” dialog will never appear ✅
