Why does YouTube keep asking "Are you still watching?" YouTube pauses playback after a stretch without interaction, to avoid streaming to an empty room. With autoplay on it appears after about 60 minutes in a browser, and 30 minutes on mobile — which is exactly what this extension handles.

How do I stop YouTube pausing automatically? Install NonStop Youtube and leave it on. When the inactivity prompt appears, it clicks the confirmation for you and playback continues.

Does it work on YouTube Music? Yes. YouTube and YouTube Music are both supported, which matters most during long listening sessions.

Does it keep playing if the tab is in the background or minimised? Yes. It works while the tab is hidden, behind another window, or minimised — that is the case it was built for.

Will it override it when I pause the video myself? No. Deliberate pauses are respected. It only acts on YouTube's own automatic interruption.

Why do I still see the popup for a moment? Because the extension counters the prompt rather than preventing it. YouTube shows it, the extension dismisses it. On a background tab you will usually never see it at all.

Does it collect any of my data? No. There are no analytics, no tracking, and no network requests of any kind. Your on/off setting and a count of dismissed prompts are stored locally on your own device and never leave your browser.
