Carelo - Manage Care Smartly

Carelo is a smart care management app built for UK home care and domiciliary care providers. It helps care workers manage their daily visits, complete accurate care records, and stay connected with the office in real time.

With Carelo, a care worker’s whole working day is available in one secure app — today’s calls, visit details, check-in and check-out, case notes, medication records, body maps, incident reports, timesheets, holidays and office messages.

Carelo is designed to reduce paperwork, improve communication, and make sure important care information is recorded once, safely, and in the right place.

Designed for care workers

Care workers can see their daily appointments clearly, including visit times, addresses, directions and travel information between calls. Before each visit, carers can view important information such as access instructions, keysafe details, care needs, risks and office notes.

Secure check-in and check-out helps create accurate visit records automatically, allowing the office to monitor care delivery live and support carers when needed.

Care records made simple

Carelo allows carers to complete care records at the point of delivery. Case notes, handovers, medication records, body maps and incident reports can all be completed directly from the app.

Medication support includes clear eMAR records showing what medication is due during each visit, with instructions, times, confirmations, refusals and reasons. The office can see updates live, helping improve safety, accountability and compliance.

Body map reporting allows carers to record concerns clearly using realistic body diagrams, selected body areas and close-up marking. This helps the office understand exactly where a concern has been identified and respond quickly.

Everything in one place

Carelo also includes weekly rosters, upcoming visits, timesheets, holiday allowance, holiday requests and messages with the office. This helps reduce confusion and keeps care workers informed throughout the week.

Secure login

To use Carelo, your care company must provide you with an account and a one-time setup code. Once set up, you create your own private 6-digit PIN. Your office does not see or set your PIN.

Authorised devices can be managed by the office, and lost devices can be removed quickly for safety and security.

Family access

Where enabled by the care company, invited family members can access a secure read-only family view. Families can see visit updates, care notes, medication records and relevant information for their own relative only. This improves transparency while keeping care information private and controlled.

Privacy and security

Each care company’s data is kept separate from every other company. Location is used only when checking in or checking out to confirm attendance at the client’s home. Carelo does not track carers in the background.
