Surligneur is a user-friendly Chrome extension designed to enhance your web reading and research experience by allowing you to highlight text passages effortlessly. Simply select text on any web page and press the "h" key to apply a highlight. You can easily remove highlights within a selection by pressing the "r" key.

This extension supports four highlight colors for better organization. All your highlights are saved automatically and restored on your next visit to the page, ensuring your notes stay intact. A convenient "Clear All" button lets you remove all highlights from the current webpage in one click. Please note that highlights are not saved in private browsing mode.

Inspired by the Firefox Highlightor extension and powered by the TextHilighter library, Surligneur provides a streamlined and reliable highlighting tool to boost productivity and improve content retention during browsing.
