Surf Clock Firefox

Surf Clock

Keep track of the time you spend surfing on the web.

Features & Capabilities

Track the time you spend surfing on the web. Curious about where you spend how much time on the web? Surf Clock is for you! Accurate. Intuitive. Private.

Features

  • While browsing the web, the time you spend on websites is accurately measured.
  • Adjust the time frame to easily spot for how long you've been on any site during that period.
  • No information is sent to our clouds, it's all yours on your computer.
Side note: Please be careful when you're in the private mode of Firefox. As Firefox doesn't deactivate addons on default, Surf Clock will keep logging.

Necessary permissions

  • "Access browser tabs" to detect when you load new sites and switch tabs / windows.
  • "Access your data for https://www.google.com/*" in order to use Google's Favicon Service, which is needed to retrieve the color for the website.

Is Surf Clock Safe?

Risk impact
Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.

Surf Clock requires some sensitive permissions that could impact your browser and data security. Exercise caution before installing.
