Standin 2 Firefox

Standin 2

By: A G
Privacy-focused addon that lets you enjoy content on several major websites without being tracked

Features & Capabilities

Use this addon to redirect links from websites like Youtube, Tiktok, Twitter, Reddit, Medium and Imgur to alternative front-ends that will access the content on those sites' databases but will not collect any data on you. You may be familiar with Nitter, Piped, Invidious, etc - this is a convenience addon that saves you time from tediously copying the link url and replacing the domain name every time you want to redirect a link.

You can change links by opening a context menu on them and selectting the 'Standin' option or you can quickly change your url to any one of the many alternative versions of that site from the addon's pop-up menu, if the instance you opened isn't performing well enough or is offline. There are currently hundreds of instances you choose from, simply tick the instances you're most interested in from the options page and then switch to in from the pop-menu.

This is a re-upload of the same app from my previous account (Maybe Later)

A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data.
