User Reviews
Recently I tested all audio addons, which were updated during the last 12 months. SoundSphere by dzl is the first choice of those, who want a booster with EQ or only one dev for Firefox and Chromium. Since version 1.3.0 SoundSphere works well with both browsers, the UIs still look the same, while under the skin you get two different addons now. The ambivalent: Permission history shows a lot of back and forth. Not every claim in the change log comes true. For example: Version 1.3.0 promisses improvements with Soundcloud and Bandcamp. But the former always works, while the latter breaks like it used to do. Usually such mess isn‘t trustworthy - in case of dzl it proves the dev to be active. So, I am curios about SoundSphere's next steps. Maybe this review will be updated soon...

Is SoundSphere Safe?
Risk impact
Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.
SoundSphere requires some sensitive permissions that could impact your browser and data security. Exercise caution before installing.

Risk likelihood
Risk likelihood measures the probability that a Firefox add-on may turn malicious. This is determined by the publisher and the Firefox add-on reputation on Firefox Add-ons Store, the amount of time the Firefox add-on has been around, and other signals about the Firefox add-on. Our algorithms are not perfect, and are subject to change as we discover new ways to detect malicious extensions. We recommend that you always exercise caution when installing a Firefox add-on.
SoundSphere is probably trust-worthy. Prefer other publishers if available. Exercise caution when installing this add-on.
