Features & Capabilities

Sonic Arc — Audio Booster & EQ gives you direct, local control over audio playing in the current Firefox tab. Turn on the master control, raise the level up to 600%, and shape the page you are listening to with a 10-band equalizer and ready-to-use sound profiles.

  • Boost current-page browser audio up to 600% with clear master controls.
  • See active audio tabs and available output telemetry in the now-playing dashboard.
  • Shape sound with a 10-band equalizer and six profiles: General, Music, Movie, Gaming, Voice, and Rock.
  • Choose Clear Voice, Balanced, or Warm Detail listening scenes.
  • Use Clarity Guard to help manage peaks at higher boost levels.
  • Record the current tab’s routed audio locally as WebM after you explicitly start recording.
  • Save selected defaults and optional site rules in local browser extension storage.
  • Enable or disable the optional keyboard shortcut from Settings.

Sonic Arc processes page audio locally to provide its controls. It does not request microphone permission and does not upload audio or recordings. Settings, optional site rules, and temporary audio telemetry stay in your browser. Sonic Arc has no account system, advertising, analytics, remote configuration service, or developer upload service for audio or recordings.

  1. Open a regular web page with HTML audio or video and begin playback.
  2. Open Sonic Arc from the Firefox toolbar.
  3. Turn on the master control and choose a boost level.
  4. Open Tools to try a profile or adjust the 10-band equalizer.
  5. Start and stop local recording only when you want to save the current tab’s routed audio.
Some protected pages, browser-internal pages, and media sources that do not expose usable page audio may limit extension behavior.
