Čítačka is an authorization device for Tatra banka clients that generates login and transaction codes for logging in, activating, or authorizing transactions in TB's electronic channels. It provides a secure alternative to the standard Card and Reader tool and supports direct activation in the app using facial biometrics.

It can be activated in several ways: directly in the app, at a bank branch, or by phone. During activation you set a login password and can enable a fingerprint for easier access. The device requires Internet for activation and updates but can be used offline thereafter. The current version supports Android 7+; more information is available at www.tatrabanka.sk.
