An extension that returns the look of YouTube to before everything became rounded. Preferences are available on the popup. Feel free to fork it from GitHub. I will try to update it as YouTube changes their site. Submit issues in GitHub so I'm aware.

Return YouTube UI is a lightweight Chrome extension that restores YouTube's pre-rounded, classic visual style by injecting CSS, JavaScript, and small HTML adjustments directly into YouTube pages. Preferences are available in the popup so you can toggle tweaks and personalize which parts of the old look are applied. The extension focuses on appearance only — no analytics or user data is collected or sent.

This project is open-source and available on GitHub for forking, issues, and contributions. Updates will be posted as YouTube changes its site; to remove all changes simply uninstall the extension and reload YouTube. Submit issues on GitHub to help track regressions and request enhancements.

This addon is great and did all it said it would do =D I would love it if they could do the video overlay GUI next, but to be fair that was a very recent change and they could be working at it already. It functions very well :)

I hate to make a poor review on this because I absolutely love what this wants to do, but yeah, this doesn't work. I hope you're able to get it working soon, at your own pace of course.
