This extension is pure trash. If I could give it zero stars I would, but I can't so one star it is. First of all, It blocks you from installing most extensions, throttling productivity and stifling independence. Second, it is being used as a crutch for schools and districts that are too lazy to enforce their own internet policies. If a student is off-task in class, it is the teacher's responsibility and job to get them back on track. And third, this extension is literally spyware. it can see your GPS location, It works as a keylogger, See what you have plugged into your device, and read/change data on all of your sites. If you can't see why this extension is averaging a 1.2 out of 5 you are either lying or you're stupid.

Hi kids, as most of you are CLEARLY giving the K-12 vibe, I'm here to let you know that your teachers (the ones you interact with in "class") almost certainly DO NOT have access to the data that gets tracked on these computers. Just like you, I have a managed laptop from my educational institution and curiously clicked to see what they had force installed on it. Anyway- as a grown @$$ person studying IT/CyberSec I am here to tell you that nobody cares that you weren't actually home sick that time you ditched school (at least when it comes to your computer). Most of the controls are on these to: A) keep them from becoming "lost assets" because somebody had to pay for these and they had to buy a LOT of them so all y'all could have one- and B) in order for these to get purchased your school had to secure the funding which usually means at some point in the negotiations, some grumpy Karen was like: "okay, but they HAVE to only use them for school. I'm not okay with just buying laptops for everyone else's kids or people who don't want to buy their own just to have them play games and watch YouTube all day or god forbid do that bootlegging pirate hacking porn virus stuff! I will NOT let this community's tax money be spent on expensive tech just for kids to be virus privates on the dark web cam!" because obviously Karen has no clue about anything other than the sound of her own voice ; ) so, yeah- managed devices suck, but nobody cares where you are right now. The data will probably only be accessed if there are issues like missing devices, or for looking up collective data in tables for reports (like average amount of hours spent on approved vs extracurricular sites per student), or if you're doing stupid things like trying to bypass the controls, "hack" your device or download dumb stuff. Use the computer you have at home for that- its probably WAY more suited for anything fun anyway. These are just glorified web browsing stations with default access to Google office suite and the ability to save files. Plus its free. You COULD always just buy/use your own and not worry about it... but then YOU would be responsible for fixing it after all the wear and tear and carelessly rough use...
