Play in VLC™

Detect streamable video and audio sources and offer to play them in VLC multimedia player

"Play in VLC™" is a powerful Chrome extension designed to detect all streamable video and audio sources on a webpage and seamlessly send them to the popular VLC multimedia player. The extension displays the number of detected media sources directly on its badge, allowing quick access. Users can send media to VLC either by left-clicking the toolbar button or via a convenient right-click context menu on media elements.

For additional functionality, the extension offers copying detected media sources to the clipboard from the toolbar context menu. Note that a native client compatible with Windows, Linux, and macOS is required for communication with VLC, ensuring smooth playback integration. "Play in VLC™" is an independent tool not affiliated with the official VLC or VideoLAN projects.
