RAMBLING ON ABOUT JARGON ------- Have you ever wondered what adware really looked like? So did I, so I downloaded some to find out. Taking notes and sketching ideas, I began working on what I believe is the most accurate interpretation of adware in the google chrome browser. Though it is fake and quite harmless, I have perfectly encapsulated what adware would look like with rAdware. It is fun and easy to use and will be the source of many laughs. And now a story for those who were diligent enough to read thus far...
NEAT STORY --------------------- As I looked at my malware-stricken laptop, I grimaced thinking of the cleansing work that would need to be done. Getting to work, my fingers flew across my keyboard searching frantically for some way to restore my once healthy device. And then suddenly a revelation occurred to me. What if I could emulate malware (or adware in this case) on google chrome? Eventually (one day later), I finished the prototype for my first google chrome extension. With glee, I traversed to the chrome web store developer page to publish my extension. Pridefully (and potentially with a tear in my eye), I clicked the publish button for my extension
