OriginMarker Firefox

OriginMarker

By: NDevTK
An Origin dependent marker in the bookmark bar that changes based off the active origin the user is viewing to help identify phishing domains. It can be automatic using a hash of the origin encoded with emoji or manual.

Features & Capabilities

An Origin dependent marker in the bookmark bar that changes based off the active origin the user is viewing. It can be renamed manually per origin or automatically using the origin hash encoded in emoji. Create a bookmark folder with the ID * to setup. Do not enable bookmark sync between devices.

Universal Automatic mode (ID: *) If no Marker name is set emojis will be used to identify the origin. This works by using a sha256 hash of the origin encoded into emoji.

Personal Automatic mode (ID: **) Like Universal mode but with a personal salt. It will be different emojis per origin then other users.

Manual only (ID: ***) Markers will not get an automatic value.
