Extension summary

When's the last time you had a meeting at 3am? Empty hours are irrelevant and waste space on your screen. This extension lets you minimize the range of hours in the morning on your Google Calendar, so you only see the title of events during those hours.

How does it work?

  1. Click “Add to Chrome” to install the extension for free from the official Chrome Web Store.
  2. Reload or open your Google Calendar in Chrome: https://www.google.com/calendar
  3. In the Day/Week/3 or 7 days view, you will notice a new small gray handle at the top of the times on the left. Drag it down to hide morning hours. If you want to show those hours again, simply click the gray hidden hours at the top of the times on the left.

Who is it for? When you use your calendar for work or school, you can set a range of working hours in the day that fits your schedule and remove the unnecessary white space during the times you're out of office or sleeping.

This extension currently works if the language of Google Calendar is set to English (US). Support for more languages coming soon.

the idea is good but badly implemented as it shifts all the time and you miss the actual time

It hides the morning hours easily, but the calendar content just moves up and adds white space underneath instead. Defeats the whole point of the extension in my opinion.

this extension is pretty old, but core feature is still working but It needs fix lost feature and some update. (update) Some problems (1,2) aren't appeared if your language setting is English. if you don't want to see this bugs, set your calander language as English. 1. the width of day columns in the week view and day view isn't properly aligned. (midnight - xx:xx part) 2. I can't see collapsed-event. If I remove midnight to 9am, I can't see events in 8am. 3. doesn't properly respond when side tool bar(task, keep etc) is turned on and off. 4. please add reverse-direction, for example It would be better if it can remove 15:00-24:00.. combining morning and midnight feature will be awesome. (like 07:00-22:00)
