You put your driver card in and the tacho asks what you did since you last took it out. Normally you enter that with a rotary knob on a two line display: clicking back hour by hour, choosing rest, other work or availability per block, and remembering to confirm. If someone is waiting behind you, or you are tired after a long day, that is exactly when it goes wrong.

WHAT IT IS ABOUT
Tacho Easy Entry reads that period straight from the tacho over Bluetooth and puts it on your screen: from when to when your card was out, and how many days, hours and minutes that is. You tap what you did in that time and the app writes it back to the tacho. What the tachograph records remains leading; the app only operates it faster than you can with the button.

WHAT YOU SEE
The period spelled out in plain language, not as a string of figures. Below it three choices: off duty or rest, other work, and available. The law knows no more flavours, so neither do you.

WHEN IT WORKS
The tacho only allows this entry while it asks for it itself, so right after you insert your card. Once that moment has passed the app says so and nothing else. Card out, card back in, and the period is there again.

WHAT IT COSTS
The first seven days are free. After that you buy the app ONCE for 5.99 and it is yours. No subscription, no monthly amount, nothing that renews by itself.

WHAT YOU NEED
A VDO smart tachograph with Bluetooth and your driver card. Stoneridge is NOT supported. You pair once; after that the app finds the tacho by itself. The pairing guide is in the app, with photos of the display.
