TACHO app - tachograph

A simple and reliable tool for professional drivers, designed for real-time monitoring of driving, work, and rest times. The app simplifies daily work on the road by automating calculations required by EU Regulation (EC) No. 561/2006 and alerting drivers of the risk of exceeding permitted limits.

The system facilitates proper planning of the workday, monitoring rest periods, and eliminating errors associated with manual activity recording.

Key Features:
-- Activity Recording and Automatic Mode --
Manual entry of events or quick switching of statuses (Driving, Work, Ready, Pause) using the Start/Stop button. The app allows for ongoing corrections to the history of manual entries, facilitating a realistic representation of the working day.

-- Analysis of Regulation (561/2006) --
The algorithm analyzes the entered data in real time. The app reports potential violations of standards, including:
⚬ Daily driving limit (9 hours and permissible extensions up to 10 hours)
⚬ Required breaks from continuous driving (4.5 hours)
⚬ Daily rest limits (regular and reduced)
⚬ Weekly and biweekly driving time limits

-- Crew driving support (Tandem / Double-crew) --
A dedicated operating mode for two drivers simultaneously in the vehicle. This allows for efficient recording of both crew members' activities and seamless role transitions without the need to relog or create separate accounts.

-- Privacy-first --
All data regarding your routes, activities, and work hours is saved and stored exclusively on your phone. The app does not require creating an account or sending your driving history to external servers. The only information transmitted is anonymous usage statistics and error reports, which are used to improve the program's stability.
