Summary

TrueRL helps solve the problem of links that look like they'll take you to one URL and then wind up taking you to another (perhaps a redirect that includes tracking ids, or a completely different site).

It does this in a number of ways:

  1. If a link's display text is a URL, but the actual link URL is different, it will change the link URL to match the displayed URL.

  2. If a link's title text is a URL, but the actual link URL is different, it will change the link URL to match the title.

  3. If a link's URL changes, but the new URL contains the old URL (for example, with added tracking IDs), it will be reverted to the original URL automatically.
