User reviews
Users appreciate the extension's ability to remove tracking parameters and prevent redirects on certain sites, enhancing privacy and browsing convenience. However, many report inconsistency in its functionality, including failure to work on multiple sites and browsers, broken context menu features, and occasional link breakage. The lack of a whitelist option to disable it on problematic sites is a common request. Despite some bugs and limitations, some users find it valuable and recommend it, especially when it works as intended.
Pros
- Effectively removes tracking parameters from URLs on some platforms, helping to avoid captchas and tracking.
- Stops redirects on certain websites, improving user experience by jumping straight to the destination.
- Simple and easy to use, with features like 'Copy & Clean' (although some report issues with this).
- Works well on Facebook and Gmail links for some users.
- Open source with a GitHub repository and plans for improvements.
Cons
- Inconsistent performance: does not work reliably across all sites or Chromium-based browsers like Vivaldi and Edge.
- Context menu features such as 'Copy & Clean' often do not work as intended or are unresponsive.
- Breaks some affiliate and other links, causing frustration.
- No whitelist feature to disable the extension on sites where it causes problems.
- Reports of sudden failure where it stops cleaning links after a period of working correctly.
Recent reviews
I wanted this for my Gmail inbox, because Google always makes me solve a captcha when I click any links in there (probably because I use VPN often), and it works perfectly fine for that. I'm happy :)

Works perfectly fine for me, but I only tested a couple links with Facebook tracking in them.

It does not work, I added a test `?utm_source=test` to a number of URLs and it does not strip it.
