The problem isn't with the game. The problem is with the source port. It looks like a source port of old gzdoom. The default option for the HUD seem to not be there. The resolution scaling makes the text tiny. Also the version of freedoom on this app is old. But it looks like you can change that. However this is the only free source port on the app store so there's that. Delta touch is way better though

It works, and it works well. Though, I have some grievances. Controls are a bit tricky, but managable until you add more complex mods and run out of buttons. This is fine. Controller support didn't work for me, could move with the left thumbstick, but no other buttons responded. The app is fun regardless. I use it to play Brutal Doom while on break
