FORMA: Form Check & Workouts

Point your camera at your squat, bench or deadlift and FORMA tells you what to fix, rep by rep, while you lift.

AI FORM CHECK
Prop your phone against a water bottle, film a set, and get coaching on every rep. 47 movements are analysed — squat, bench press, deadlift, overhead press, row, lunge, push-up, pull-up, plank and more.

It runs entirely on your phone. The video never leaves the device, so there is nothing to upload, nothing stored on a server, and nothing to opt out of. It works without a signal.

And you get a measurement rather than a verdict. Not "6/10" but "you are about 13 degrees short of depth", or "your hips are sagging — brace so your body is one straight line". Reps are counted from the joint angles, so the count is what your body did, not what a timer assumed.

FOOD SCAN — CALORIES FROM A PHOTO
Photograph a meal and get calories, protein, carbs and fat back, with a score for how well it fits the goal you set. Edit anything before it is logged; the app estimates, it does not insist. Prefer typing? Enter a food by name and the macros fill themselves in. Three scans a day are included, fifty on Premium.

A PLAN BUILT AROUND YOUR GYM
Answer seven questions and FORMA lays out your training week. Tell it which equipment your gym has and it will never program a machine that is not there — if the cable station is taken, ask for a swap mid-workout and it finds a replacement that trains the same thing.

Not sure what to train today? Tap a muscle group and it builds the session, shows the technique for each movement, and starts the timer.

AN INTERACTIVE MUSCLE MAP
Tap any muscle in 2D or 3D and see the exercises that train it best, including which head of the muscle each one emphasises — biceps long head, upper chest, rear delts. 106 exercises, each with step-by-step technique and an animated demonstration.

STRIDE — RUN AND WALK TRACKING
GPS distance, pace, splits and a route map for runs and walks, with automatic pause when you stop at a crossing. Finish and share a route card. Solo runs are processed on your device; your exact coordinates are never stored.

TRAIN WITH PEOPLE
Add friends with a code, share a workout feed, run weekly leaderboards, start groups and set team challenges. Message your training partners, or connect to a coach who can assign you sessions and see how they went.

WHAT IT COSTS
Premium is 3.99 a month. It removes ads and raises the AI limits — Food Scan goes from three photos a day to fifty. Nothing else changes: the plans, the form check, the exercise library, the tracking and the social features are all there without it, and there is no paywall in front of your own data.

PRIVACY
Form Check runs on your phone and the footage stays there. Solo runs keep your coordinates on the device. Your log is yours — export or delete it whenever you want.

FORMA is for people who want to know whether that rep was any good, not just that it happened.
