Magnetar Firefox

Magnetar

By: Arr Cee
Detect torrent hashes on any page and send them to Real-Debrid, TorBox, Premiumize, AllDebrid, RDT Client, or your local client. Built-in popup blocker included.

Features & Capabilities

Magnetar detects torrent magnets and info hashes on webpages and sends them to your chosen download service or torrent client.

Supported targets: Local torrent client, Real-Debrid, TorBox, AllDebrid, Premiumize, RDT Client, and qBittorrent.

Magnetar 2.0 introduces a redesigned interface with Standard and Advanced modes. Keep it simple with one-click sending, or unlock extra tools like Target switching, Manual send, Batch mode, Ignore site, Pin toolbar, and Detection Details.

The new Target selector lets you send one item to another provider without changing your default. For example, keep TorBox as your default but send a single torrent to Real-Debrid, qBittorrent, RDT Client, or your local torrent client.

Manual send lets you paste a magnet link or torrent hash directly into Magnetar. If you paste a raw hash, you can add an optional name so your local history stays readable.

Batch mode works with one detected item or many. Select what you want, switch target if needed, send in one go, and keep track of saved and sent items.

Ignore site helps with false-positive detections. If Magnetar appears on a site where it should not, add the domain to your ignored websites list and Magnetar will stay quiet there unless you remove it later.

Pin toolbar keeps Magnetar open after sending, useful when working through several items. Leave it unpinned and the toolbar hides itself after a successful send.

Open provider and Downloads shortcuts let you jump to your configured provider or open your browser downloads folder directly from the toolbar.

Magnetar Shield blocks popup and redirect domains at the network level. Right-click any page to add it to the Shield blocklist, then manage blocked sites from settings.

Detection Details shows hash, magnet, page URL, cache status, source and target information for Advanced users.

Download history tracks what you have sent locally in your browser. Search your history, export it as JSON or CSV, and keep your queue organised.

Save for later lets you bookmark detected torrents without sending them immediately.

Custom site rules let you define CSS selectors or regex patterns for sites that need help with detection.

The settings page has been redesigned with improved history, Shield, ignored websites, provider settings, import/export, and backup tools.

11 languages are included: English, Swedish, French, German, Russian, Italian, Spanish, Danish, Romanian, Lithuanian and Czech.

Privacy first: Magnetar runs locally in your browser. No analytics, no telemetry, no ads, and no tracking. Network requests are made only to the provider or client you configure.

Is Magnetar Safe?

Risk impact
Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.

Magnetar requires some sensitive permissions that could impact your browser and data security. Exercise caution before installing.
