How to install Readable Boing Boing from a CRX file
Option 1: The easy way (for Windows users only)
  1. Download and run chrome-stats.exe file on your PC. This method will allow you to install Chrome extensions directly from chrome-stats.com in one click. You only need to do this once!
  2. Type in chrome://restart in the URL bar to restart the browser for the changes to take effect.
  3. Download and install the Readable Boing Boing CRX file
Option 2: Advanced method
  1. Download Readable Boing Boing CRX file
  2. NOTE: Sometimes the browser may block downloading / installing CRX file from outside the Chrome Web Store. If so, you may need to use option 1, or download the ZIP file instead.
  3. In the URL bar, go to chrome://extensions
  4. Enable Developer mode
  5. Drag and drop the downloaded Readable Boing Boing CRX file into the Extensions page
  6. When prompted, click Add extension to install Readable Boing Boing.
How to install Readable Boing Boing from a ZIP file
  1. Download and unpack the Readable Boing Boing ZIP file to a directory of your choice.
