Narrower works by dynamically changing the padding of the document's root element (<html>) and saves your preferred margin settings per site in localStorage. These settings persist on each visit, ensuring a consistent, user-friendly browsing experience. If needed, you can reset margins by dragging the slider back to 0% and refreshing the page. While it works on the majority of sites, some webpages may not respond as expected due to CSS constraints, in which case adjusting your browser window size manually may be an alternative.
