CRXcavator Gatherer is a practical Chrome Extension designed to collect Chrome Extension usage statistics across an organization. It empowers administrators by providing them statistics about the most and least used extensions within their domain. This holistic overview helps in effective risk management by focusing efforts on the most used extensions and considering the elimination of rarely used ones. It makes up for the limitation of tools like chef, jamf, and osquery that cannot run on all platforms such as Chromebooks, hence broadening the scope of data collection.
