Dictionary Lookup - An Efficient Extension for Word Search
'Dictionary Lookup' is a user-friendly Chrome extension that simplifies the process of searching for word definitions. By simply holding a modifier key and double-clicking any word, it provides an inline box showing the dictionary entry from Wiktionary. Besides this, it allows lookup for manually-entered queries via a shortcut. The extension does not support the Chrome Extensions Gallery pages due to security reasons and does not add a toolbar icon.

If it's gonna fetch left-wing propaganda from google dictionary anyway, then what's the point of this as a separate extension? Might as well just use google dictionary extension.

I love this extension. It works perfectly for me, it's quick, doesn't mess up, provides at least a basic definition for every word I've tried it on.
All that said, I wish it had an additional feature. I think it would be handy to have a link to search Wikipedia for that word, somewhere beside the word itself, maybe beside where the audio file is linked. It can just say "Wikipedia" or "Search Wikipedia", and it'll open a new tab showing the search results for that word in Wikipedia.

Highly customizable. But for some words it doesn't show pronunciation, wonder why?
