Uptimeify On-Call

Uptimeify On-Call is the phone half of Uptimeify's incident management. It is for the person carrying the pager: it shows what is broken, who is on call, and lets you take an incident with one tap.

AN ALERT THAT ARRIVES

Alerts use their own notification channels, one per severity, each with its own sound and vibration. With Do Not Disturb access granted, a SEV1 breaks through a silenced phone — that is what the app exists for, and it tells you plainly when the access is missing instead of failing quietly.

THE ALERT TEXT IS ENCRYPTED

Push notifications travel through providers outside the EU. The alert text does not go with them in the clear: the incident title and body are sealed on our servers for your device alone, and opened on the phone before the notification is drawn. The provider carries a block it cannot read. A device without a key simply sees a generic line, and the alert still arrives.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

• See open incidents, filtered by severity and status, and search them
• Acknowledge or resolve, from the list, the detail view, or the notification itself
• Snooze an incident, comment, assign it or escalate it now
• See who is on call now, when your shift ends, and the shifts that are coming
• Hand a shift to a teammate, and take it back
• Your team at a glance: who covers which tier, gaps, time to acknowledge and resolve
• Choose an alert sound per severity, and the volume for critical alerts
• Light and dark, following your system

WHAT YOU NEED

An existing Uptimeify account. Accounts are created by an organisation administrator in the Uptimeify web dashboard; this app signs you in, it does not register you. Two-step verification is supported.

Deleting your account is possible in the app under Settings, and at uptimeify.io/account-deletion if you no longer have it installed.
