CareFirst Rx is a free application that helps connect you to your hometown CareFirst Pharmacy. Search for your preferred location using your ZIP code or GPS location, then save the pharmacy as your favorite to keep connected!

Along with submitting refill requests, you will also have access to important data about your prescriptions while on the go. From the app, you will be presented with a variety of valuable tools:

• Login to view and request refills from your prescription profile • Access a pocket profile--a summary of your recent prescriptions, prescribing physicians, allergy history and more • View the drug monograph information for most drugs in your prescription history • View CareFirst Pharmacy's location, phone number, and store hours • Quickly request refills without logging in by typing the Rx numbers or scanning the Rx barcodes • Receive an immediate response confirming the validity of the prescription number

What is the point of this truly horrible 17 year old app?! Can’t even create an account, buttons don’t work, it’s utterly pointless. The website isn’t much better so forget doing anything online with this pharmacy. Hey Carefirst, welcome to the 21st Century where you can buy a premade app and customize it, heck make your own using a template or awful Canva… it would still be better than this garbage. Customers want to be able to check their Rxs online and maybe even message the pharmacy at times that are convenient. You should trash this app and work on your website if you’re not going to have a functional app and your website stinks (FYI it’s the way customers first check you out, leaving a terrible impression!). Just yuck.

Nothing works except to find the pharmacy or call it. Create profile doesn’t work. Pharmacy that no longer works exists still listed.

App uses white lettering on white background when submitting a new Rx so you can’t see what you’re typing. When trying to set up a profile, selection for DOB is also white lettering on white background so you are unable to choose a birth date. App is not usable.
