Protonmail is a service that exists in a competitive market. My curiosity is why the mail app is so different between platforms, with iOS seeming to have no way to adjust the mailbox settings like default fonts, nor sort mail/filter views. I can put up with random things that don’t work on iOS vs Mac or web, but it’s frustrating when strange behaviors (like reply to emails becomes monotype unexpectedly) are more challenging to check if they’re a simple setting issue.
