The C-MAP App is a navigation and charting companion for recreational boaters. Available on mobile, tablet, or PC, it provides up-to-date C-MAP charts worldwide, with autorouting, personal waypoints, track recording, thousands of pre-loaded POIs, and weather overlays along the route.

Upgrade to Premium to unlock full GPS, offline maps, REVEAL shaded relief, high-resolution bathymetry, and AIS traffic. The app supports GPX import/export and sharing routes, tracks, or waypoints. A free 14-day trial (3-day in Denmark and Sweden) is available, with continual map updates.

However, recurring stability problems—crashes on startup or during use—followed by frequent failures to save tracks, map loading and data quality issues (missing contours, locating lakes, depth errors), and an AIS feature that requires internet, are the most recurrent, critical drawbacks.

Works sometimes but crashes frequently when ypu switch apps. Today im pff san diego and i cant even get the app to start. I have 5g, I rebooted my phome and it starts and crashes before i het a map 5 Out of sox times. The last time it gets a map, Doesnt bring up a cours or roit and then crashes. Im done. Cancelling subscription
