User Reviews

CmdRef is generally viewed as a handy CMD/DOS reference with an easy-to-use interface and accurate content, useful for IT pros who want quick, offline access. Reviewers praise its usefulness and breadth of commands, but note incomplete coverage, occasional blank pages, and some entries that don’t work in CMD. Image loading can also fail on some devices. Users frequently request features like favorites and notes, and some dislike ads (though removal is available). Overall, a solid utility with content gaps and minor UX drawbacks.
Pros
  • Handy pocket reference for CMD/DOS commands; convenient to access on Apple devices, saving time.
  • Accurate information presented in an easy-to-use interface; high-quality content.
  • Useful for IT professionals; helps recall and use common commands at the workstation without online searching.
  • Broad coverage of common command-line codes; useful for quick reference.
  • Free or nominally priced; ad-supported with an option to remove ads.
Cons
  • Incomplete content with missing commands and occasional blank pages.
  • Some commands do not work in CMD or are not applicable to Windows CMD.
  • Ads are present; removal requires a fee (and some users dislike the advertising).
  • Images/graphics sometimes fail to load or render properly.
  • Requests for additional features (e.g., favorites, notes) indicate room for improvement; current lack.

This is a list not a dictionary. Use google Ai to create a list then copy paste and save as a word or excel file, this is worthless.

So I haven’t personally tried out any of the commands in this app yet that are not displayed when typing in help in cmd prompt, but on first glance, taking a look and grouch some of the mentioned above commands(the ones I haven’t yet tried), I’d say I really really like this app. Appears it can be a very useful tool, and very helpful. That is my thoughts on it, I will be trying them out later today to see how useful they may actually be or not infect be. One thing of the top I’d love to suggest the developers, or request, rather; is a favorite(s) button/feature. Overall very much looking forward to utilizing this to my advantage thank you kindly I love it
