I paid nearly $400 on Viagogo for a specific seat so I could sit with my friends for a trip we planned together. Instead of delivering the ticket I purchased, Viagogo sent me a ticket in a completely different section and row. Three days before the event, I emailed customer service to get the correct ticket. A representative promised I would receive it within 24 hours. Instead, they sent a second replacement ticket that was even worse than the first. To put this in perspective, both replacement tickets combined were worth less than the single seat I originally bought. Two days before the show, I emailed again. This time, the representative claimed I would receive the correct ticket just one hour before the event. Because this required a 10-hour drive each way (Indianapolis to Toronto), I wasn't willing to travel 20 hours round-trip without a confirmed ticket in hand. I attempted to call Viagogo's main customer service line, only to discover they had blocked my phone number. Event time came and went, and I never received the correct ticket. Instead, Viagogo sent an email stating my only choices were a 25% discount code for a future purchase or keeping the drastically lower-value ticket—with zero option for a refund. This completely contradicts their advertised "Viagogo Guarantee," which promises refunds when issues arise. I am now filing a chargeback through my bank with full documentation and screenshots. AVOID VIAGOGO AT ALL COSTS!
