Deutsche Bank photoTAN securely simplifies approving transfers in online and mobile banking. Activate by scanning the activation letter graphic, then approve with photoTAN (scan graphic and enter TAN) or use photoTAN push (confirm directly in the app). Security is provided by a PIN or biometric protection.

Note on activation and future changes: since 25 August 2025, new photoTAN setups are no longer possible; active photoTAN procedures can continue to be used. BestSign will replace photoTAN and be integrated into the Deutsche Bank app, consolidating banking and security in one place.
